Graston Technique

Graston Technique is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue release to support the recovery of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia). This technique is ideal for treating pain and immobility throughout the body. Graston technique is used to “break down” scar tissue, decrease fascial restrictions and improve range of motion. It reduces the restriction in the area by stretching connective tissue, and promotes a better healing environment for the injured soft tissue.

Benefits to this treatment are faster recovery time, less treatment tissue, resolving chronic conditions that are thought to be permanent, and it reduces the need for anti-inflammatory drugs.
